The Brandery will be back in June with its summer show
The show closed its winter edition with over 14,600 visitors
The Brandery, held from the 27th to 29th of January in the Montjuïc exhibition centre, closes its winter show, confirming its important growth and becoming an essential event in the events calendar. Fira de Barcelona's urban and contemporary fashion fair will be back in June with the latest collections for summer 2011-2012.
With double the space and more companies, The Brandery was visited by 14,689 professionals, 51% more than at the first edition held in July 2009. Over three days, it featured over 210 brands, including the 080 Barcelona Fashion designers, around half of which came from abroad, especially from France, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
Business persons and designers, such as Custo Dalmau, Sita Murt, Xavier Berneda (Munich) and Andrea Rosso (55 DSL), among others, promoted their autumn-winter collections at their stands. The list of new products presented by the brands includes technical fabrics, 100% ecological footwear and all kinds of accessories to give the latest look.
The conferences and round tables in The Laundry, with the participation of coolhunters and experts, were also very popular as were the performances by skateboarding, street dance and Parkour specialists and the exhibitions of snowboards and ironboards customised by well-known tattoo artists.
