Eight new events in the calendar 2010
International medical congresses, Concepto Baño and Swab
This year, Fira will host eight new events, including four international medical congresses and the Concepto Baño and Swab trade shows. Other recent projects, such as The Brandery, Avante and Hit will also be consolidated in 2010.
With the incorporation in the events calendar of the Urology, Haematology, Respiration and Neuroimmunology congresses, Barcelona reinforces its position as a leading city in the medical field.
This year will also see the first Concepto Baño, which has arisen from the experience of Construmat and which will coincide in dates with the second edition of Instlamat (materials for electricity, plumbing and air conditioning installations). Another new addition will be the International Contemporary Art Fair, Swab which, from the 13th to the 16th of May, will bring to Barcelona material from 40 galleries from around the world.
In 2010, some recent shows, such as the urban and contemporary fashion fair, The Brandery, Avante (from the 2nd to the 4th of June) on products and services to improve the personal autonomy and life quality of dependent and disabled persons, and Hit Barcelona, dedicated to innovation and know-how, will also be consolidated.
