BCN Bridal Week, Low Cost and Chemspec Europe, coming shows in June

Activity of the first six months concludes with new proposals

Bridal fashion, real estate opportunities and fine chemistry will be the highlights of trade fair activity in June in BCN Bridal Week, Low Cost and Chemspec Europe. The first half of the year will conclude with two new shows, the first edition of HIT Barcelona, Global Innovation Summit and ELE España, with the latest elevator and vertical transport technologies.

The Gaudí Novias catwalk and the International Noviaespaña Show are the main events of BCN Bridal Week, which will showcase the quality and creativity of wedding fashion designs in pavilion 8 of the Gran Via exhibition centre. The collections for 2010 of 31 national and foreign designers will be featured on the catwalk.

The aim of the first edition of Low Cost, which will be held in the Montjuïc exhibition centre, is to offer low cost housing and provide an outlet for stocks of real estate promoters that have announced important discounts and opportunities. Financial institutions and private owners will also be participating. 

For the first time, the professional trade fair Chemspec Europe, specialising in fine chemistry, will be coming to Barcelona. The event taking place in the Gran Via exhibition centre will feature a symposium, scientific sessions and workshops. A large number of Spanish and southern European pharmaceutical and chemical firms are expected to attend.

The Montjuïc exhibition centre will host the first edition of HIT Barcelona, organised by Fira de Barcelona and the Plan Estratégico Metropolitano (Strategic Metropolitan Plan), which will convert the city into a global reference in the area of innovation. Telecommunications, healthcare and renewable energies will be the key topics at this event at this platform for exchanging knowledge and establishing business contacts.

The last event in the first half of the calendar will be ELE España, International Vertical Transport Technologies Congress which will be held in the Montjuïc exhibition centre and will exhibit the advances in the industry of elevators and their new applications. The previous editions were held in Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
